About Mozingo Systems — Engineering Better Business Operations
Mozingo Systems is an operations systems engineering company — not an IT company, not a marketing agency, not an AI company. Founded by Frank Mozingo, an Operations Systems Engineer with 30 years across operations, electronics, and software, it's built for organizations that need practical systems improvement instead of generic IT support, dashboard theater, or broad AI promises.
We work where business process, technical infrastructure, data quality, people, and daily execution overlap. That keeps the work grounded in the real cost of duplicate tools, unclear ownership, messy data, undocumented process, unclear success criteria, fragmented reporting, single points of failure, and manual busywork slowing things down.
The work is shaped by how teams actually use systems, trust data, make decisions, handle exceptions, and keep the business moving while improvements are made.
Every engagement starts with how the work actually gets done — never with which software to buy. The order is always business goals, then operations, then process, then people, then systems, data, automation, and finally AI. Never the reverse.
Methodology
Mozingo Systems works through focused engagements that find the waste, clarify what's actually happening day to day, clean up the underlying data, define how the work should run and how you'll know it's working, and deliver the next practical improvement without turning the business into an experiment.
These four engagement types are how the work gets delivered — they sit underneath the Operational Accelerators and Systems Improvement Projects described on the Services page, not a separate menu.
Identify waste, bottlenecks, ownership gaps, and the highest-value improvement opportunities.
Deliver a defined simplification, insight, or automation outcome with a narrow scope.
Help execute changes without disrupting the systems and workflows people depend on.
Provide ongoing technical strategy and operational systems guidance when sustained ownership is needed.
How We Work
Duplicate spend, unreliable reporting, handoffs, rework, and single points of failure make the improvement target concrete.
Systems, data, workflows, and people are evaluated together so recommendations are usable.
Improvements are sequenced around continuity, ownership, and the work teams still have to complete.
A task that cannot be explained, owned, measured, and judged should not be automated yet.
The work ties back to cost, speed, reliability, consistency, decision quality, or reduced manual effort.
Bio
Before this, Frank spent time in higher-stakes environments than a server closet: two branches of military service — Navy, then Air Force on the B-2 bomber program — and civilian law enforcement, alongside a 30-year engineering career spanning embedded systems, semiconductor manufacturing, data, and automation.
The same discipline applies here: verify before you claim, fix root causes, no shortcuts that come back later.
